With the end of stormy and rainy weather in Rajasthan, the season of warmth will soon be returning. On Sunday morning, there was clear blue sky, and the temperature rose due to the intense sunshine.
The maximum temperature in more than 12 districts of eastern and southern parts of Rajasthan, along with western parts of the state, ranged from 35°C to 40°C. The night temperature is also increasing in most areas, and minimum temperatures have risen beyond 20°C. The Meteorological Department of Jaipur reports that weather conditions are going to remain completely dry for the next 4-5 days, and during this period, temperature will increase up to 3°C - 4°C.
Reviewing the weather in the state over the past 24 hours, the sky remained clear throughout the state. Bikaner and Jodhpur divisions experienced bright sunshine from morning onwards, resulting in a heat wave that persisted into the evening. On Sunday, the highest temperature of 39.4 degrees Celsius was recorded in Barmer.
Other major cities recorded temperatures of 37.6 degrees Celsius in Chittorgarh and Jaisalmer, 37.4 degrees Celsius in Jodhpur and Kota, 37.8 degrees Celsius in Phalodi, 37.2 degrees Celsius in Pratapgarh, 37.1 degrees Celsius in Jalore and Udaipur, 36.4 degrees Celsius in Bikaner, 36.1 degrees Celsius in Vanasthali (Tonk), 35.8 degrees Celsius in Pilani, Sriganganagar, and Churu, 35.4 degrees Celsius in Dausa and Karauli, 35.1 degrees Celsius in Pali, and 34.7 degrees Celsius in Jaipur and Ajmer.
According to Meteorological Department Director Radheshyam Sharma, the heat will intensify in the state this week. Temperatures may cross 40 degrees Celsius in some areas of western Rajasthan, although there is no possibility of heatwave at present.
