Reliance Aerostructure Limited, a subsidiary of Reliance Infrastructure, has partnered with French giant Dassault Aviation to manufacture the 'Falcon 2000 Business Jet' in India for global markets. Both companies announced this partnership during the Paris Airshow on Wednesday. This collaboration represents a significant step toward enhancing India's aerospace manufacturing capabilities.
With this historic agreement, India will join the ranks of countries producing next-generation business jets, including the United States, France, Canada, and Brazil. Dassault Aviation noted that this will be the first time it manufactures the Falcon 2000 jet outside of France. A state-of-the-art assembly line for the Falcon 2000 jets will be established in Nagpur, Maharashtra, marking the first such center of excellence outside of France.
Dassault Aviation Chairman and CEO Eric Trappier said, "This new agreement once again fulfills our Make in India commitments and establishes India as a key partner in the global supply chain. The agreement will make the joint venture the first center of excellence for Falcon assembly outside France. The new assembly line will meet the growing demand in international markets. The first 'Made in India' Falcon 2000 will be ready by 2028."
