Maruti Suzuki manufactures cars in various segments. In that context, the manufacturer manufactures the eVitara as an electric SUV. There have been reports that the price of this SUV is increased.
Maruti markets the eVitara in India as a mid-sized electric SUV. The media reports are true but there has not been any official announcement from the company about the price increase. According to media reports, the price is increased by up to ₹30,000, depending upon the variant.
However, the base version’s price remained unchanged. But the price of Zeta variant, which is above the base version, was increased to the highest amount of ₹30,000. The ex-showroom prices of Alpha and Alpha Dual-Tone variants were increased by ₹20,000 each.
The SUV comes equipped with several premium features. These include a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, LED headlights, LED tail lights, ambient lighting, and a dual-tone interior. For safety, the manufacturer has equipped this SUV with features such as seven airbags, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and Level 2 ADAS.
Maruti offers the eVitara with multiple battery options, featuring battery packs with capacities of 49 kWh and 61 kWh. This enables a range of over 543 kilometers on a single charge. The motor delivers a maximum power output of 128 kW and 193 Nm of torque.
The ex-showroom price for this SUV starts at ₹16 lakh, while the top variant is priced at ₹20.21 lakh (ex-showroom).
