The ambition of students to pursue higher education abroad is driven by the desire to acquire world-class education, essential skills for lucrative global careers, rapid career advancement, and a broad outlook. A report from Redseer Strategy Consultants in Bengaluru projected that the count of Indian students opting for international study programs will reach 1.8 million by the year 2024. Government data presented in Parliament revealed a substantial 68 per cent surge in the number of Indian students heading abroad for higher education in the past year, with 750,365 students in 2022 compared to 444,553 in 2021.
Jamboree Education alumni Nikhil joined Georgia Tech in the US to pursue Computer Science. He shared three compelling reasons for pursuing higher studies there: the opportunity to learn from esteemed institutions, exposure to industry expertise, and the chance to be mentored by the best in the field. I am involved in two clubs: artificial intelligence development and video game creation, and there’s so much to do and learn here.”

Shiv Nadar University has established numerous partnerships with foreign universities like Babson College (USA), Mondragon University (Spain), and the National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (Taiwan). Ashoka University has forged collaborations with institutions such as the University of Aizu, the University of British Columbia, the University of Cambridge, and Yale University, facilitating expansive horizons for students in various fields.
