The Winning Lawyer with a Creative Heart: Navin Krishna Giri

Navin Giri says “he is what he is today all thanks to the upbringing he received from his grandmother Mrs.Subhadra Krishna Rau Parigi and grandfather Mr.Parigi Krishna Rao”. Navin says that if there is any person whom he admires is his grandmother Mrs.Subhadra Krishna Rau Parigi for it’s from her that he learned how to be kind, honest, be giving and to be compassionate. Navin Giri says that Mrs.Subhadra Krishna Rau Parigi is the best grandmother in the whole world who unfortunately passed away a few years ago. Navin Giri in Jest says that he learned the habit of making friends and talking long hours on the phone from his grandmother “Mrs.Subhadra Krishna Rau Parigi” (whom he calls as “Nama”). 

On being asked about hardships – Navin recalls various instances of discrimination and hardships which he had to face in life, family and on his personal and professional front yet that did not deter him from achieving great laurels. On asking Navin Giri to give out some names of people and instances, he refused and said, “that it’s between those people who did what they did and their God” and Navin Giri says, “he has no ill feelings about either those people or those circumstances”. Navin Giri said, “I have to move on with God’s blessings and have to win the hearts of people and to keep contributing to community service initiatives”. Navin is a fan of Ekla Cholo Re, which is a Bengali patriotic song written by Rabindranath Tagore.

Over the years Navin Giri has developed a very respectful and strong bond of friendship with various professionals from all walks of life-be it Artists, Actors, Singers, Doctors, Musicians, Chartered Accountants, Businesspersons, Celebrities, Officers or the common person in life. Navin Giri says jokingly “that he hardly has friends of his own age and has friends who are at least 15-25 years older to him-which obviously is not planned but is just a part of life’s scheme of things”. Navin Giri is known as a “Yaaron ka Yaar” amongst his friend circles. 

Navin Giri says that “he thanks Each and Every person who stood by him in his times of trouble and shall remain ever so grateful to them”. Navin Giri says he is thankful to his childhood friend and classmate Som Kamei and Sh. Sudesh Kumar (IAS retd) and Mr. Bonny Singh. Navin Giri also admires the professionalism of Mr.Anil Gudibande  who apart from being a Chartered Accountant, Angel Investor & Banker is a very kind human being.

Navin Krishna Giri emphasizes that governments, NGO’s and citizens urgently require to address issues related to a clean environment and world peace. Navin is a true follower of Bhagwan Ganesha and Goddess Amba Bhawani and is an avid reader of the Bhagavad Gita. 

Navin Giri indicated that he has plans to write a series of short stories which may be picturized on screen someday if he gets a Sponsor for his Projects. 

Lastly, When I completed my article about the real life-experiences of Navin Krishna Giri, his life script seemed to have resemblance to a perfect script of a Super Hit Action Hindi Movie with hero’s, heroines, supporting actors, comedians and most of all with many Villains trying to pull Navin Giri down but could not. It would be interesting to read his memoirs whenever he decides to publish.
