Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], March 24: Demonstrating a strong commitment to social responsibility and humanitarian service, Surajya Nirman Pratishthan Foundation organized a large-scale blood donation camp at Mantralaya, Mumbai on March 18, 2026. The camp was conducted with the support of the Sir J.  J. Managar Blood Centre managed by the State Blood Transfusion Council (SBTC).

With the ongoing shortage of blood in mind, the initiative aimed to ensure that patients receive blood on time and no life is lost due to its unavailability. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from citizens, youth, social activists, government officials, political leaders, police personnel, and esteemed dignitaries.

A total of 174 units of blood were collected during the drive, including Cryo, Platelets, and Plasma. The success of this collection was made possible with valuable support from Ms. Neeta Dange representing the Sir J. J. Mahanagar Blood Centre managed by the State Blood Transfusion Council (SBTC).
