Stage App Brings Pehla Chakravyuh CHALAVA to Regional India, DK FILMS’ Most Watched Thriller Now in Haryanvi and Rajasthani
One of India’s most talked-about supernatural web series, Pehla Chakravyuh CHALAVA, has returned and this time in the voices of India’s heartland.

One of India’s most talked-about supernatural web series, Pehla Chakravyuh CHALAVA, has returned and this time in the voices of India’s heartland. The acclaimed show from DK FILMS has officially launched on Stage App in Haryanvi and Rajasthani, marking its first-ever regional release for rural audiences.
Originally released on YouTube in June 2022, the show stunned the digital space with its quality production, haunting storyline, and emotional depth. It went on to stream on Disney Plus Hotstar, where it trended at number 3, right behind Brahmastra and Legends of Hanuman, making it one of the very few independent series to rank alongside India’s biggest mainstream titles.
“Chalava was made with belief. We didn’t expect the reach it got. But the audience made it something special,” said creator Dushyant Kapoor, who is also known for building India’s first superhero universe on YouTube.
A Thriller That Redefined Indie Success
Pehla Chakravyuh CHALAVA isn’t just DK FILMS’ most-watched thriller. It’s also their only non-superhero title to cross 250 million streams across YouTube, Hotstar, Airtel Xstream, and US-based Vyre Network, where it topped charts for a month.
The story follows Ashish Dutta, a young cop who becomes trapped in a mysterious web of death, fear, and folklore after he escorts a prisoner no one can trace. Viewers praised the show’s slow-burning tension, grounded cinematography, and how it captured the eerie beauty of small-town India.
On YouTube, fans hailed it as “better than half the OTT thrillers” and praised it for “bringing Indian horror back with storytelling and without cheap jumpscares.” Even industry insiders quietly acknowledged Chalava’s breakout success, which achieved what many high-budget productions could not, emotional connection with the audience.
Stage App: A Perfect Home for Chalava’s Soul
Now, with its release on Stage App, Chalava enters a new chapter. Stage is India’s largest platform for regional-language content, especially in dialects like Haryanvi and Rajasthani. For many, this release feels like the show has come home.
“We always felt Chalava’s roots were rural. It’s based on stories that belong to these regions. Now people can watch it in their own language,” said ”Hiren Satiya” from Stage.
The dubbed version includes fresh voice work that stays true to the tone and intensity of the original. A new poster was also revealed ahead of the release, further fueling fan excitement.
A Glimpse into the Future: Dusra Chakravyuh Maya
While DK FILMS isn’t focusing on a direct continuation of Chalava just yet, the creators have teased something even more haunting. A short promo and social media teasers have already revealed the next project in the Chakravyuh universe, Dusra Chakravyuh: Maya, which is set to arrive later this year.
While the stories are independent, there are hints that the universe is expanding with new myths, new characters, and the same eerie tone that made Chalava a standout experience.
“We’re not done. Chalava was the beginning,” executive producer Ankit Vatsa shared in a recent interview. “This year, we’ll be back with Maya and it will be darker, deeper, and deadlier.”
The Legacy of Pehla Chakravyuh CHALAVA
In a sea of flashy thrillers and formulaic horror, Pehla Chakravyuh CHALAVA earned its place through sincerity and craft. It wasn’t made for virality and it became viral because it was made with heart.
Now, with Stage App giving it a fresh voice and a wider audience, Chalava is once again finding its way into living rooms, small screens, and storytelling discussions. From digital sensation to rural phenomenon, this ghost story is far from finished.
