SEASON 6 OF GRAPHIC INDIA’S HIT ANIMATED SHOW RANKS #6 ON ORMAX’S TOP 50 STREAMING SHOWS LIST FROM JAN- JUN 2025

 #2 Most-Watched Show on JioHotstar & the Only Animated Series to Make it to The List 

Mumbai, August 04, 2025 : The Legend of Hanuman continues its extraordinary journey as one of the most beloved and successful animated series in Indian streaming history. The mythological epic, created by Sharad Devarajan and produced by Graphic India, has achieved yet another milestone ranking #6 across all platforms in Ormax’s Top 50 Streaming Originals in India for January -June 2026.

What makes this feat truly notable, is that The Legend of Hanuman S6 is the only animated series to feature in the entire list. Standing tall in the TOP 10 the show shares space with Criminal Justice: A Family Matter, Paatal Lok S2, Squid Game S3, Panchayat S4 and ranking above titles like The Great Indian Kapil Show S3, The Royals, Black Warrant amongst high-profile live-action dramas and mainstream entertainment. The series also ranks as the #2 most-watched show on JioHotstar on the list, solidifying its place as one of the platform’s top-performing titles of the year.

Season 6 of the series, which debuted on April 11, 2025, has extended the franchise’s legacy, emerging as a pan-India phenomenon with strong performance in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Malayalam and Kannada. 

Since its debut, The Legend of Hanuman has consistently topped Ormax Media’s most watched streaming originals charts (debuting at #1 in Ormax’s weekly OTT rankings) and JioHotstar’s weekly rankings for every one of its six seasons—making it the first animated series in India to achieve such a run.  Season 5 reaching ~9.4 million viewers in its release window and Season 6 soaring to ~15.2 million over its first three weeks—clearly illustrating the series' escalating popularity.

Season 6 is once again directed by Jeevan J. Kang and Navin John. Daman Baggan is back as Hanuman in the vocal cast, and Sharad Kelkar provides his epic voice acting for Ravan. With its amazing graphics, moving soundtrack, and intensely emotional narrative, the show keeps pushing the limits of storytelling.
