Pramod Maloo, the crazy fan from Kolkata shares life lessons from SRK’s journey

How Maloo connects to the superstar whom he loves, admires and adores- it shapes up his mind, the man he is, in many unthinkable ways. Maloo took out several instances and dotted his talk with many instances that inspired him to be at the top of his game no matter what he does in life.      

Turning back to the pages of his college days, Pramod was moved by a quote that SRK said in an interview “You don’t win a silver, you only lose a gold.” It changed his perception of life and his hunger to succeed and beat the odds in life became more zealous. Working at a call centre during his college days to earn quick bucks, he cruised on to become the top caller surpassing the sales number of seasoned callers out there. Maloo outperformed himself and stood out among 250-odd callers with SRK’s quote kindling his spark to be a go-getter. 

The quote by Paulo Coelho — ‘And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it’ was used in SRK’s movie ‘’Om Shanti Om.’’ When we talk of SRK, romance can never be far behind. Maloo fell in love with a bubbly, chirpy girl and wholeheartedly dreamt of marrying her. Stealing a smile from the face of despair, he was persistent in getting his love and walking the aisle hand in hand with her and ended up marrying Neha, his loving wife in 2011, after a lot of hardships.  

The story of a common man making it big in the corporate world that SRK portrayed in “Yes Boss” was the inspiration that brought Kreative Machinez into existence. Kreative Machinez is roaring and soaring high as one of the fastest-growing digital marketing companies in Eastern India now. Inspired by SRK’s risk-taking ability, Maloo dreamt of being a digital marketer way back in 2009-2010. The going was never easy and he never looked at life with rose-tinted glasses. Maloo burst the comfort bubble, left a well-paid job to be his own boss, and set out on a journey on his terms. 

SRK has been more than an inspiration for Maloo and he explained beautifully while wrapping up his speech, “In Mahabharata, Rishi Dronacharya never taught Eklavya, but the latter learnt almost everything about archery from Dronacharya. Likewise, SRK may not have taught me anything directly, but I have learnt a lot about life from him. He is my guiding force….my go-to person in happiness and despair, in success and failure.” The show has just begun for the very young and dynamic SRK nearing 60. Here’s wishing the man behind Kreative Machinez, a student of life and a crazy fan of a superstar that he keeps on touching milestones, making new ones and living life with the same passion and adulation like SRK.
