New Delhi [India], December 8: The HSE India Summit & Awards 2025 was successfully held on 5 December 2025 in New Delhi, bringing together over 500 participants, including industry leaders, policymakers, regulators, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) professionals from across the country.
The summit focused on the Future of HSE in India, highlighting the growing impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), digital monitoring, and automation in strengthening workplace safety, occupational health, and environmental standards.
A total of 30 award categories were presented, selected by an expert industry jury, recognising excellence in safety innovation, environmental sustainability, workplace safety leadership, and HSE-driven organisational initiatives.

Most Prestigious Honour
The Lifetime Achievement Award, the highest honour of HSE India Awards 2025, was conferred upon Mr P. K. Goswami, Deputy Director, ISH, Labour Department, Delhi, for his exemplary contribution to accident prevention and occupational safety.
Mr Goswami is renowned for developing a bulletproof safety jacket for rolling mill workers in Delhi, a breakthrough innovation that has saved numerous lives and established new benchmarks in industrial worker protection.
The event received wide media attention, reaffirming its role in strengthening India’s safety culture and sustainability ecosystem.
