Ishaara Brings Back Undivided Punjab Menu by Chef Sherry Mehta in Mumbai
Undivided Punjab menu spread by Chef Sherry Mehta at Ishaara Restaurant by Bellona Hospitality

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India] : Ishaara, a restaurant known for its authentic Indian cuisine, brings back the much-loved Undivided Punjab pop-up menu to Mumbai.  After winning hearts in Pune, Bangalore, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad, this special menu, a tribute to the rich, pre-partition food traditions of Punjab,  makes its final stop at Ishaara, Palladium Mall, starting 16th July 2025.

Curated by Chef Sherry Mehta and inspired by a candid conversation with Bellona Hospitality’s MD, Prashant Issar, the menu was born from a shared nostalgia. As they reminisced about their Punjabi roots, they realized how many traditional dishes had faded from memory. This sparked the idea to revive those long-lost recipes and celebrate the rich, cross-cultural heritage of Punjab.

The undivided Punjab menu brings to life forgotten flavours from the kitchens of pre-partition cities like Lahore, Amritsar, and Rawalpindi. The dishes include authentic curries, pulav, kebabs, and breads from before the tandoor as we know it. Influenced by Greek, Persian, Moorish, and British cuisines, these dishes tell stories of a Punjab that once knew no borders.
