At All India Radio, he served as an anchor for the Yuvavani program from 2002 to 2004. Concurrently, he worked with Doordarshan as an anchor from 2003 to 2005.

Jitendra Bandhaniya's career took a significant leap when he joined ETV Gujarati in 2005. Over the next three years, he served as an anchor and producer, making substantial contributions to the platform's growing popularity. His talents were soon recognized by TV9 Gujarati, where he became the Senior Executive Editor & Programming Head from 2008 to 2016. During this period, he hosted the popular program "Lights, Camera, Dhamaal - LCD," featuring multiple celebrities.
In 2016, Jitendra Bandhaniya joined News18 Gujarati as an Associate Editor & Programming Head. He also played a major role as host and producer of the successful show “Aapnu Cinema,” where interviews with major celebrities were conducted. This role allowed him to expand his editorial influence within the media landscape. He then moved to Zee 24 Kalak in 2017, serving as Input Editor until 2018. Each of these roles allowed him to shape and influence the Gujarati media landscape, contributing to the growth and development of these platforms.
