Ahmedabad, Gujarat (India), November 18, 2024: Engineering education in India has long been a pathway to success, but it has also been criticized for its focus on theory over practical skills. Given the disconnect between classroom learning and real-world application, many graduates need help finding their footing in the job market. That’s where My Equation comes in.
This Ahmedabad-based SkillTech startup was formed by Ratik Gupta, an engineer who struggled to find work for himself. He is a young entrepreneur with a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering who founded the company with the purpose of bridging the divide between academic knowledge and industrial demands. “We saw a clear need for hands-on, practical training that fits well with what the industry actually needs,” he says. “We work to prepare students with skills they can use from day one on the job.”
