The OnePlus 15 smartphone has been priced higher by OnePlus just six months after its launch. The starting variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage now comes at ₹5,000 extra, while the highest one with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage has been hiked by ₹6,000.
This smartphone from OnePlus is the first-ever in India to feature a “DetailMax Image Engine” developed by OnePlus itself. This technology makes use of machine learning techniques to enhance the visual quality of images taken under low-light conditions and high-zoom modes.
Powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip based on the 3nm fabrication process with clock speeds reaching up to 4.6GHz. This chipset will also power the upcoming Realme GT 8 Pro and iQOO 15.
The phone is built on an aluminum frame and has a micro arc oxidation treatment, making it more robust. The OnePlus 15 is rated IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K, making it resistant to dust, water, and liquid spills.
The phone comes in Infinity Black, Ultra Violet, and Sandstorm color options and appeals to users with its slim, premium design.
The phone features a 6.78-inch QHD+ LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 165Hz for gaming. The screen is quite sharp and bright, with 1800 nits of brightness and 450 PPI.
Speaking of the camera, it has a 50MP Sony IMX906 main sensor, a 50MP telephoto, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. A 32MP front camera is available for selfies and video calls.
The OnePlus 15 has a large 7300mAh battery, which supports 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. According to the company, the battery's health remains above 80% for up to four years. For performance, it has an Adreno 840 GPU, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage. A 360° Cryo-Velocity cooling system prevents the phone from overheating.
The phone supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and 16 5G bands. Apart from this, USB 3.2, IR blaster and 3 mics for noise cancellation are also provided.
