The country's popular two-wheeler manufacturer Royal Enfield is testing its upcoming naked roadster Hunter 450. Inspired by Himalayan 450, this bike will be offered with better performance and handling specifications. Come, let us know about it.
The Royal Enfield Hunter 450 may be introduced in India during the latter part of this year. Its direct rival will be the Triumph Speed 400, but it will also face competition from the recently released Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and KTM 390 Duke.
The motorcycle will cost less than the Husky and its Austrian equivalent, and it will resemble the Speed 400 in terms of neo-retro styling. Regarding the design, it will come with an LED turn signal in the compact tail section, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a single-piece seat, LED tail lamps, and a circular LED headlamp.
Although it will share the main frame with the Himalayan 450, a distinct subframe design is anticipated. The Sherpa 450 engine, which made its debut in the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, will power the Hunter 450. The 452 cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled DOHC mill generates 40.02 PS of power and 40 Nm of maximum torque.
It will use a telescopic front fork with a gaiter, unlike the USD found on the Himalayan 450. Thus its price may be more aggressive. The motorcycle will ride on mono-shock rear suspension with 17-inch black alloy wheels at the front and rear. The dual-channel ABS will assist the front and rear disc brakes.
