Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be joining the leaders of the US, Japan, and Australia in the QUAD summit to be held in the US later this month. The powerful grouping is expected to discuss various global challenges, including the situation in Ukraine.
It would likely be held in Wilmington, Delaware, on September 21 because that city is considered the party location of US President Joe Biden. However, no official confirmation has been announced concerning the date and location of that summit.
This time, it was India's turn to host the Quad Summit, but its leaders decided to hold it at a place suitable for all given their engagements. Modi, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, and Japanese PM Fumio Kishida are traveling to the US to join the UN summit starting on September 22 and 23. In the revised plan, India was likely to host the Quad summit next year.
