The Motorola Signature was launched recently at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2026) as the company's first offering from its new range of technology devices. A special website for the smartphone has been launched on an e-commerce site, which confirms the impending launch of the device in the nation. The Motorola Signature's launching date and starting price for the box have now been revealed on the internet, which may enter the Indian market towards the end of this month. The Motorola Signature will be launched in India in two colors picked from the Pantone palette. There will be a square-shaped camera module with a triple camera setup on the back of the smartphone.

In a post on X, tipster Sanju Chaudhary leaked details of the upcoming Motorola Signature, claiming that it will launch in India on January 23rd. Furthermore, the leaker claims that the smartphone's box price will be ₹84,999 for the variant with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Since box prices of phones in India are typically higher than their retail prices, the Motorola Signature's selling price may be lower than the leaked price. Since the tech firm has not yet confirmed these details, it should be taken with a grain of salt.

A dedicated microsite for the Motorola Signature recently went live on Flipkart in India, confirming its imminent availability through the e-commerce platform. According to the teaser, it will be offered in two Pantone-curated color options: Martini Olive and Carbon. It will feature a triple rear camera setup that offers 3.5x optical zoom capability. The handset will also feature a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 camera on the back.

The handset will also feature a hole-punch display cutout on the front for the selfie camera. In India, the Motorola Signature will feature an aluminum frame and, according to teasers, will be 6.99mm thick, while weighing approximately 186g. Other details about the smartphone, including its chipset and battery capacity, are expected to be revealed in the coming days.

As previously mentioned, the Motorola Signature was first launched in select global markets on January 7th at a starting price of EUR 899.99 (approximately Rs. 82,000) for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. The phone runs on Android 16-based Hello UI. It features a 6.8-inch Super HD (1,264x2,780 pixels) LTPO AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz, 450 ppi pixel density, and a peak brightness of up to 6,200 nits.

The global version of the Motorola Signature is powered by Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, built on a 3nm process. It has 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 onboard storage. The phone features a triple rear camera unit, consisting of a 50-megapixel main shooter, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. It is powered by a 5,200mAh silicon carbon battery that supports 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
