As mentioned by analysts, the main reason for a decrease in prices of gold and silver lies in the fear of rising inflation and crude oil prices because of a confrontation between the US and Iran. Moreover, the probability of increase in interest rates pushed investors to take profits from gold and silver. During the last 12 months, gold and silver provided good returns to investors, gaining more than 24 percent and 87 percent, respectively.
