Tata Motors will finally unveil the finalized model of the new-electric SUV, Sierra EV, on June 30, 2026. It was introduced initially as a concept at the Auto Expo 2020 show and later made an appearance at Auto Expo 2023.

It is expected that Tata Sierra EV will position itself between Curvv EV and Harrier EV and will face competition from other brands of electric SUVs like Creta Electric, Mahindra BE6, MG ZS EV, Maruti E Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella, and Vinfast VF6.

In terms of its design, the Sierra EV will be largely similar to its petrol-diesel variant with some unique styling touches. Specifically, at the front end of the vehicle, one can observe a closed body-colored grill, and a connected LED light bar will complete its modernized looks. Moreover, there will be a split headlamp setup along with LED fog lamps and cornering lights.

As for the rear end, one would expect it to feature a full-width LED light bar with slim tail lamps and turn indicators, as well as a roof-mounted rear defogger and a well-fitted rear wiper.

Testing images reveal several details about the Sierra EV's cabin. Even the cheaper variants are expected to feature a large, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster is also expected. The more expensive variants may feature a triple-screen layout, similar to the petrol-diesel models.

This car is likely to feature a 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake, drive selector, and multiple drive modes. The SUV is also expected to feature premium features like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, a 12-speaker JBL audio system with Dolby Atmos, ventilated seats, dual-zone climate control, and ambient lighting.

TATA Motors hasn't yet revealed any battery details, but reports suggest the Sierra EV could be offered with multiple battery pack options, including 55 kWh and 65 kWh units. It's also likely to use a larger battery pack than the Harrier EV. The car is expected to have a driving range of up to 500 km.
