After the victory in the recent by-elections, BJP workers took out a huge victory rally on Monday, during which a violent clash broke out between Tipra Motha and BJP workers. Let us tell you that this incident happened in tribal tribal-dominated Jampuijala area.

"The violent clash broke out after a group of Tipra Motha workers allegedly stopped some BJP workers from attending the rally," Assistant Inspector General (Law and Order) Jyotishaman Das Chaudhary told news agency PTI.

Police said at least 12 people, including workers of both parties, were injured in the clash. He has been taken to the nearest health facility.

When the police team tried to intervene during the violent clash, Takrajala police station officer-in-charge Rathin Debbarma and two other personnel were pelted with stones, injuring them. The police resorted to a lathi charge to disperse the group.

Following the clash, the venue of the rally was later shifted to Tarkajala, where BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee, addressing party workers, alleged that the saffron party workers were on the streets to stop the opposition's attempts to disrupt peace.
