Air India flights to Tel Aviv will now stand suspended up to May 8. The aviation carrier made the announcement in a late evening release on Monday. It had announced earlier that it was suspending its Tel Aviv-India flights up to May 6.
This decision was made in the aftermath of the missile attack close to the airport in Tel Aviv. Air India announced on Sunday that halt its flight service up to Tuesday. It was forced to reroute one of its flights traveling from Delhi to Tel Aviv because of a missile attack close to the airport.
Air India normally operates five flights a week to Tel Aviv. Air India said in a post on X, "Our flights to and from Tel Aviv will remain suspended till May 8.
The airline said that our teams are helping the affected passengers to make alternative arrangements. Passengers holding valid tickets for travel till May 8 will be offered a one-time waiver on rescheduling fees or a full refund on cancellation.
