Padmasitaa, the designer label founded by Padmini Kolhapure and Sita Talwalkar, has launched a new collection at Juhu. The label is dedicated to preserving the art of handcrafted vintage embroidery, a craft deeply rooted in India’s heritage. The name “Padmasitaa” combines elements of both founders’ names and carries the significant meaning of “Lakshmi with a Lotus,” with the lotus serving as the brand’s logo
Padmasitaa offers a diverse range of designs, including both traditional Indian and Indo-western styles such as capes, sarees, tunics, anarkalis, skirts, lehengas, and crop tops. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted, with a focus on intricate vintage embroidery, a skill mastered by only a few artisans.
