Further strengthening outcomes was the use of the state’s first kidney port pump, enabling continuous perfusion and real-time monitoring of the kidney graft while the liver transplant was underway. The entire process was supported by seamless coordination between transplant surgeons, nephrologists, anesthetists, and critical care teams.

Post-surgery, the patient was managed in a dedicated Transplant ICU with advanced monitoring, infection control, and tailored immuno suppression protocols. Despite initial challenges including infections and fluctuating creatinine levels, timely interventions ensured steady recovery, leading to discharge in stable condition on 14th April 2026-free from both liver failure and dialysis dependency.
