New Delhi [India], April 21: In a world where careers are often meticulously planned, Asif Anwar Alig’s journey stands as a testament to the power of unforeseen choices transforming into lifelong passions. A seasoned communication strategist, journalist, editor, and writer with over 25 years of experience, Asif now adds another milestone to his illustrious career with the release of his debut solo book, Dream Roads.
Currently serving as Editor-in-Chief and CEO Emeritus of a digital marketing and content company, Asif has held significant roles across media, communications, television, and education management in India and abroad. His professional associations include reputed institutions such as the Indian Institute of Management Nagpur, Management Development Institute Gurgaon, ETV Networks, and universities in Saudi Arabia. Armed with a Master of Journalism & Mass Communication and a degree in English from Aligarh Muslim University, his journey reflects both depth and diversity.
Interestingly, Asif’s entry into journalism was not by design. After qualifying for multiple master’s programs, financial constraints led him to pursue MJMC in 2001—a decision that would ultimately shape his destiny. What began as a practical choice soon evolved into a profound passion, leading him to write extensively for newspapers, magazines, and digital platforms across the globe. A pivotal moment arrived in 2017 during a co-authorship project for the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia, which inspired him to eventually pen his own book.
