Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], October 19: Kajal Vashisht, a talented actress with roots in journalism, is poised to enchant audiences in the Gujarati film Bhalle Padharya, which was released on 11th Oct-24. Her passion for storytelling and diverse experience in Gujarati theatre and Bollywood showcase her dedication and versatility as an artist. Bhalle Padharya showcases Kajal in the role of Jhamku, a character that contrasts her own personality. “The film felt like it chose me. Portraying Jhamku was a rewarding challenge, and her subtle love story with Rony is a joy to watch,” she expressed. Kajal highlighted the unforgettable experience of working with a talented team and the warm hospitality of the local people in Kutch.
Kajal holds a postgraduate degree in journalism and began her career with Doordarshan Mumbai. Her foray into acting was encouraged by DG Uday Nayak, who recognised her strong screen presence. After transitioning to modelling, she explored her talent in Gujarati theatre, which she considers her acting school. Within a year, she landed her first film role in Rowdy Rathore, collaborating with esteemed artists such as Ami Trivedi, Kamlesh Mota, and Manoj Joshi.”The ability to step into someone else’s life and bring their journey to life on screen is what inspires me every day,” Kajal shared.
