IVCA Holds the Third and the Final of Its #VC101 Programme in Delhi; Emphasises the Role of Governance in Boosting India's Economy

Featuring over 100 attendees, the Delhi chapter sought to educate FTFMs on strategic portfolio management, corporate governance, exits, and returns. An understanding of these concepts is, thus, very important for emerging fund managers to achieve success in the industry.

This year, the aim of IVCA's Venture Capital Council is to strengthen fund management practices for VCs and improve the venture capital environment in India. To fulfil this vision, IVCA launched #VC101 to establish an empowered and experienced generation of fund managers in India. Additionally, IVCA recently launched a partnered report: "Start-Up Governance Playbook", which is a comprehensive framework of corporate governance practices to foster a culture of trust and accountability in India's thriving start-up ecosystem. IVCA's Venture Capital Council is now planning to create similar programs for seasoned VC funds and deep dive into operational aspects like Model Term Sheets, Share Holder Agreements, Deal Structuring, Risk Management, etc. and deep diving on few topics that were covered in #VC101 as well.
