Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 23: Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO), a global community of visionary Jain entrepreneurs, professionals, and philanthropists, has concluded a remarkable year of impactful initiatives and groundbreaking events, setting the stage for an even more ambitious 2024. Driven by its core objectives of Economic empowerment, Seva and Knowledge, JITO has left an indelible mark on the world, fostering connections, empowering individuals, and transforming lives.
The past year saw JITO scale new heights with initiatives that resonated across India and the globe. The organization’s unwavering commitment to social impact was exemplified by the Ahimsa Run, a Guinness World Record-breaking event that promoted peace and non-violence with over 1.5 lakh participants across 82 locations including 22 international locations. The title was received for the highest number of pledges (70,728 pledges). This spirit of service extended to the launch of the JITO Education Assistance Program (JEAP) at the Jio Convention Centre, BKC, providing critical financial support to deserving students seeking higher education in India and abroad.
JITO’s dedication to its members’ success was evident in the grand JITO Connect event held in Jaipur, bringing together industry leaders and entrepreneurs for collaboration and growth. Additionally, the organization’s commitment to environmental sustainability was reaffirmed through the Amritkaal Mahotsav, a six-week celebration that saw over 1.5 lakh trees planted across India.
