Grish Majethiya is a Young Filmmaker & an Actor from Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Currently he is only 16, and studying in class 11th. He started his journey of an Actor at a very early age of 9 through Marathi & Gujarati Theatre Play.
He started it has a hobby but in 2018, after becoming the Acting Winner of TV Reality Show 'No. 1 Dramebaaz Season 3' Grish decided to make it a career option. He has worked in many projects as an actor, which includes TV show 'EPIC IQ', International Series 'Legendary Locations' and many more. Recently he has worked in a Music Album 'Bewajaah' as lead Actor.
Grish said that throughout the journey as an actor, the interest of Making Film grew up in his mind. First time when this thought came into his mind was in class 10th when he was reading a story in his English TextBook, he thought what if there was a short film on the story of the chapter. He started learning about Filmmaking from the Internet. He said he will surely make a film on that lesson in future. The short film "UnFailure" is his debut film as Writer, Director & Producer. He loves to explore more opportunities by collaborating with others :)
His journey of this career started at a very early age from some annual play at school, while he was barely 9. Even after that, He played multiple roles in various plays and also did some Marathi Theater Plays. This consequent participation led him to a serious turn of getting into acting and ended up earning the title of "Acting Winner" in the TV Reality Show No. 1 Dramebaaz Season 3 in 2018. Grish has also worked in an California’s TV Series ‘Legendry Locations’ as Child Lord Vishnu on Travel Channel in 2019.
In 2020 all along with this journey of acting, the hidden interest in making films was consciously growing up in his mind somewhere. When he was reading a story in his class 10th English Textbook, the thought of making a film on the chapter came into his mind. Anyhow his experience and knowledge of filmmaking were pretty insufficient so he kept learning about it from internet & YouTube.
He participated in the IFPX 50 hours Filmmaking Challenge and made his first short film ‘Decision/UnFailure’, the hardwork & self-teaching resulted in getting selected in top 100 films from all over the globe, which will be releasing soon. He wrote, produced, and directed it all himself. This was all followed by the ultimate idea of opening his own production company. So here comes the ultimate start of GM productions. Grish Majethiya’s recentlly worked in a music video ‘Bewajaah’, this song is a sad love story, basically, a breakup story which most of the youth would have gone through in their life. The song was inspired by the real-life situation of the music composer, singer & songwriter Shumiron Das. You can listen this song here.\
The song was made for his upcoming short film ‘UnExpected Breakup’. Many more projects are already lined up for future to-do list and also he is looking forward to exploring more and more opportunities where he can work and collaborate with others. Grish asks for the support of everyone to start his new of GM Productions.
