Whereas in villages there will be a power cut of 3 to 4 hours. The corporation has attributed this cut to the power crisis due to a shortage of coal. The corporation says that in view of the decrease in the availability of electricity, this energy management has been done to maintain the demand and supply.
Naveen Arora, Managing Director, Jaipur Discom said that apart from all the district headquarters, it has been decided to cut the potential power of 1 hour in all municipal areas and 3 to 4 hours in rural areas in rural areas. In the municipal areas of Dausa, Jaipur District Circle, Tonk, Sawai Madhopur districts, there will be a power cut of 1 hour from 5 to 6 pm in the municipal areas of Bharatpur, Karauli, Kota, Jhalawar, Bundi, Baran districts.
Arora has appealed to the common consumers to keep ACs switched off as far as possible due to the reduction in thermal power production due to a shortage of coal. Avoid using unnecessary electricity. Switch off electrical appliances where electricity is not in use. Use as much natural light as possible during the day. Work with sunlight for a few days.
