Jaipur. Autonomous Government Secretary Bhawani Singh Detha said that the ongoing development work under the Smart City project in Kota should be completed on time with quality. Prioritize innovations as per the norms of Smart City using IT to provide better facilities to common citizens. Shri Singh was addressing the officers present while reviewing the development works of Smart City Project at Rajiv Gandhi Seva Kendra, Collectorate, Kota.
In the meeting, Mayor Kota South Rajeev Agarwal, District Collector and CEO Smart City Ujjwal Rathod, Commissioner Municipal Corporation North Vasudev Malavat, South Kirti Rathod, Secretary UIT Rajesh Joshi, Financial Advisor Vidhi Sharma, Addl. Concerned officials including Chief Engineer UIT OP Verma were present. The Secretary of the Autonomous Government said that all the development works going on in the city under Smart City should be completed with quality on the stipulated time. The work should be completed as per the norms of the project with continuous monitoring. Taking information about the progress of construction works of flyovers and underpasses on Jhalawar Road in the city, he said that in view of the year, the works of water logging and necessary work should be completed at the earliest to keep the movement of the common man smooth. After reviewing the construction work of the sports complex, he instructed the players to make a plan for the availability of sports equipment and to organize sports activities continuously in future.
During the review of 163 crore drinking water project for clean and uninterrupted drinking water supply to common citizens, he directed to develop network in new areas and to develop the outgoing system with smartness so that water wastage can be reduced. The Secretary of the Autonomous Government, after reviewing the ongoing development works in the hospitals under the Smart City project, directed to make the availability of equipment on time and to make a plan of screen and twins system for Timardaram in hospitals using IT so that the availability of doctors and hospital get information about the facilities. He directed to develop facilities by selecting routes for cycling for change under Smart City, pavement, parking and smart facilities in new markets under People for Change.
He also directed to prepare a plan to improve the urban forest and public transport system in the city and give it a concrete shape. On this occasion Principal Medical College Vijay Sardana, Superintending Engineer Pt. Rajesh Soni, Executive Engineer Jalday DD Miglani, M Sharma of Smart City along with concerned officials were present.
