CM Gehlot pointed out the flaws of the Center to the Union Minister

Gehlot said - the policies of the Center are not in the interest of the states yet, I got tense after hearing the pattern of 60:40 In front of Union Minister Arjun Meghwal at the launch ceremony of the Light and Sound Show under the Swadesh Darshan Scheme, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot strongly pointed out the flaws in the funding pattern and policies of the Center.

CM Gehlot said that in the central government's plan, if the pending projects of development of tourist places of Rajasthan on a theme basis wait for new guidelines, then the state government will be burdened. Earlier, the center was giving full money, now the central government will give only 60 percent money in new projects.

The position of the state governments is not such that they can give 40 percent share in these projects. The situation of the state governments is very dire, pending projects will be completed only with the plan of the Center to give full money.

The Center should give full money to the pending projects of Rajasthan according to the old guideline. CM and Arjun Meghwal through VC under the 'Swadesh Darshan' scheme, laser water show at Jaisalmer, Gadisar Talab, Chittorgarh Fort, Mirabai Memorial of Merta (Nagore), Machkund in Dholpur and Jai Niwas Udyan in Jaipur, work of sound and light show.

Launched. Gehlot said- We have made a demand to the Center for giving special status to the state many times. If the special status is given to Rajasthan, then all the problems will be solved. I got tensed just after hearing the 60:40 pattern in new tourism projects. In all the schemes that were earlier, the Government of India used to give money up to 90 percent, in many, it was up to 80 percent.

In the last five years, the Government of India started giving only 50 percent of the money in central schemes, this has put a huge burden on the states. Gehlot said- The central government should help the states financially and with policies.

Right now the attitude of the Center is not good. States have suffered due to change in the pattern of states' share in central taxes. Due to the change in the duty pattern of the states in petrol and diesel, the loss is also due to the reduction in the share.

Union Minister Arjun Meghwal should convey our sentiments to the Prime Minister that the Center should help the states financially and through good policies. Union Minister Arjun Meghwal said that in addition to the Swadesh Darshan scheme, the Government of India will provide full help in the projects of theme-based tourism development.

Efforts will be made to clear the pending projects of Rajasthan soon. Projects will be approved following the new guidelines.
