Any taxpayer in the country can file returns till 31 July 2023 without paying any penalty. By the way, the last date for filing a revised return is 31 December 2023. Let us tell you that any taxpayer can file the original return only once. Regarding the revised return, many experts say that the revised return should be filed only at the time of need. If he does not do so, the Income Tax Department can inquire about him.
