Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced that versions of the Glanza have been equipped with 6 airbags. This implies that now all of its versions will receive 6 airbags. With this, the company has also brought the new Prestige Edition of Glanza. With this upgrade, the base ex-showroom price of this luxury hatchback has risen to Rs 6.90 lakh.

In addition to fitting it with 6airbags, the manufacturer has also introduced a prestige edition, which comes with an accessories package. This package is available only until July 31, 2025. The accessories package contains premium door visors, body side molding with chrome and black trim, rear lamp garnish, chrome trims for exterior rear view mirrors and fenders, rear skid plate, illuminated door sills, and a lower grille garnish accessories.

Toyota Glanza is offered with dual-tone and single-tone colors like Sporting Red, Insta Blue, Enticing Silver, Gaming Gray, and Cafe White. It gets a 9-inch infotainment system, head-up display, 360-degree camera, and Toyota i-Connect with over 45 connected capabilities. All these features are offered in its four variants: E, S, G, and V.

Toyota Glanza is powered by a 1.2-litre K-series petrol engine, which also has the option of a CNG powertrain. Its engine generates 88 hp of power and 113 Nm of peak torque. It is offered with an MT or AMT transmission option. The company claims that it gives mileage of up to 22.94 km per litre with automatic transmission and up to 30.61 km/kg in CNG variants.

Toyota Glanza is offered in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 6.90 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. This premium hatchback competes with cars like the Tata Altroz, the Maruti Baleno, and the Hyundai i20.
