The company is set to launch one huge update. Through HyperOS 3, Xiaomi smartphones can now transfer their data files into iPhones, iPads, and other Apple devices. It could even be done via the Quick Share feature found on Android smartphones.

The HyperOS 3-enabled devices can exchange photo, video, and file data with Apple gadgets within a matter of seconds. Xiaomi even showed a brief video clip where a photo file was transferred from the newly launched Xiaomi 17T Pro to the iPhone.

Earlier, Apple users used the AirDrop technology to exchange files among themselves only. The process for Android users to send file information to iPhones and iPads was a tough task. This has been made easier with the introduction of Quick Share technology.

Reports suggest that the Xiaomi 17T Pro could be the first Xiaomi smartphone to come with this new feature. The company hasn't yet revealed whether older Xiaomi phones will receive this feature, but it's expected that other HyperOS 3 devices will also be equipped with this feature in the future.

However, before Xiaomi, Samsung and Oppo are also offering this feature on select flagship devices, allowing for easy file transfer between Apple devices via Quick Share.
