Strong earthquake tremors were felt in the Chile-Bolivia border area in the South American continent on Tuesday. The German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) said that the intensity of this earthquake was measured at 5.5.
The GFZ said the earthquake occurred at a depth of 104 km (64.62 mi). At present, no information about any kind of damage has been revealed.

Rescue teams have started reaching remote areas in the operation with the participation of Spain, Qatar, Britain, Israel, and UAE. The death toll in Friday night's earthquake has increased to 2,862, while 2,562 people are injured.
