There will be another shift in weather conditions in Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has forecast that the temperatures in Rajasthan could go up by 3 to 4 degrees within the next few days. There will be sunny skies with clear weather, and hence there will be a feeling of intense heat.
On Friday, a shift in weather was recorded in some districts owing to western disturbances. There was rainfall accompanied by lightning in some parts of the state, causing a fall in temperatures temporarily. However, Churu recorded a temperature of 43 degrees Celsius, making it one of the hottest cities in Rajasthan. Some other cities like Barmer, Jaisalmer, and Pali recorded slight falls in temperatures.
During the past 24 hours, Hanumangarh and Churu districts remained overcast since morning. The weather suddenly changed in the afternoon, bringing heavy rain and hailstorms to several locations. This change in weather has affected farmers, with reports of damage to harvested crops.
Due to the western disturbance, several districts, including Jaipur, Bharatpur, Dausa, and Tonk, experienced light clouds throughout the day, but the temperature did not drop significantly, providing no relief from the heat. By evening, the weather cleared, and the heat increased again.
Meanwhile, looking at the temperatures in other cities, the maximum temperature was recorded at 39.1 degrees Celsius in Ajmer, 39.2 in Bhilwara, 39.5 in Udaipur, and 38.5 in Nagaur. The Meteorological Department has predicted increased heat in the next few days, advising people to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions.
