Poco F8 Ultra Tipped to Feature 6.9-inch OLED Display & Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Currently, Poco is gearing up for the launch of its F8 series. This Poco phone will arrive in global markets on November 26th. Under this series, the company will introduce two smartphones: the PocoF8Pro and F8 Ultra, the specifications of which are currently unknown. Reports suggest that these upcoming smartphones may be rebranded versions of the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max launched in China. Here, we provide detailed information about Poco's upcoming smartphone series. According to media reports, the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra smartphones will launch with flagship features. First, the display of the Ultra variant will feature a 6.9-inch OLED panel. The F8 Pro is expected to feature a 6.59-inch OLED display. Both Poco models will have a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Poco F8 Pro is reportedly powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, while the F8 Ultra smartphone is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The Poco F8 Ultra will also feature a triple rear camera setup, with a 50-megapixel primary camera. It will also feature an ultra-wide-angle lens and a periscope telephoto lens. Regarding the selfie camera, the Ultra version may feature a 20-megapixel selfie camera. Information regarding the charging capabilities of Poco's upcoming smartphone has also been revealed. Both the Poco F8 Pro and F8 Ultra smartphones will support 100W wired charging. The company may also offer 50W wireless charging support in the Ultra variant. The Poco F8 Pro series may enter the global market as well as the Indian market. However, Poco has not shared any official information regarding this. Based on the company's launch history, Poco typically launches its smartphones in India a few weeks after their global launch. Therefore, it is possible that their India launch could take place in early 2026. No details have yet been revealed regarding the pricing of the Poco F8 series. It is being reported that this series will feature flagship features. Consequently, it will compete directly with the recently launched flagship OnePlus 15, Oppo Find X9 series, Vivo X300 series, and other premium Android smartphones.
