An Indrive Company official said on Saturday that the ride-hailing platform is planning to provide insurance to passengers during the ride. Launched in India in 2019, the US-based indrive now operates in major metros such as Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai and some other cities. The official said that it would start services in Bengaluru next year.

He also said that we are thinking about giving insurance to those who take advantage of individual service during the journey. Currently, it is at the plan level. It has also been claimed that this app-based platform "registers 30,000 rides with 10,000 driver partners per day in Kolkata.

The official said that the indrive will soon launch a security feature in its app, which will not share the phone number of the passengers with the drivers. He said that we would present voice-over-internet protocol (VOIP) so that the phone number does not appear to the driver. VOIP calls will be safe. The official said that indrive has also started operations with electric cars in New Delhi.
