Rajasthan is experiencing extremely hot conditions at present. The heat is posing great difficulties for the people living in the desert and disrupting their daily routines. According to the Meteorological Department, the heat will increase further in the region beginning April 19.

Between April 19 and April 22, a heatwave is expected in eastern Rajasthan, whereas western Rajasthan will experience it more intensely between April 21 and April 22. The temperatures may rise to 42 to 45 degrees Celsius. Jaipur, Kota, and Udaipur would be severely impacted by the heat, whereas Bikaner and Jaisalmer would be significantly affected. There won't be any rain, and the weather will remain dry.

In Rajasthan, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Barmer, Bikaner, and Phalodi experienced light clouds over the past 24 hours. Dust storms blew in some areas of Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh, and Jaisalmer from morning to afternoon. However, clear skies and bright sunshine prevailed throughout the day in Kota, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Ajmer, and Udaipur divisions.
