Dengue has caused widespread devastation in Bangladesh. A large number of patients are suffering from the outbreak of dengue fever in the country. Hundreds of cases are coming to the fore every day. August has so far turned out to be the deadliest month in the history of dengue in Bangladesh, with 60,352 cases of the vector-borne disease reported, Dhaka Tribune reported.

The report states that dengue cases are not likely to reduce anytime soon. It was also told about dengue that in the month of August alone, the previous year's record of the country has been broken. The month of August alone saw more deaths than the total number of deaths recorded last year.

Bangladesh has reported 286 dengue deaths this month and an average of 10 deaths and 2,321 cases per day in the past 26 days, The Tribune reported.
