Renault Duster is a recently introduced SUV model from Renault in India. It has been crash-tested by Bharat NCAP and we bring you the details.

March 2026 saw Renault Duster crash-test by Bharat NCAP and the safety rating for the car is revealed now.

The SUV got a full score of five in all the crash tests conducted. It states that the car is perfectly safe for occupants of both age groups.

The scores recorded in the test included 14.49 points in the frontal crash and 16 points in side movable crash test totaling to 30.49/32 points.

The same test provides information on child safety. According to the information, the vehicle scored 24 points in the dynamic score, 12 points in the CRS test, and nine points in the VAS test, giving it a score of 45 out of 49 for child safety.

The manufacturer has provided this SUV with several excellent safety features, including a 360-degree camera, fog lights, an electric power tailgate, Level-2 ADAS, over 35 safety features, six airbags, ABS with EBD, and ISOFIX child anchorage.

Renault Duster prices start at ₹10.49 lakh (ex-showroom), with the top-spec variant going up to ₹18.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new-generation Renault Duster competes with SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, Tata Sierra, MG Hector, and Maruti Victoria.
