The demand for electric vehicles is growing in India. In order to cater to this, automobile manufacturers are making good electric vehicles available in the market across different segments. Mahindra Thar EV can become one of them in the coming future.
The possibility of Mahindra bringing its Thar EV to India exists; however, it has not released any official information regarding this so far.
Several features can be there in this electric SUV of Mahindra. It may come equipped with squared LED headlamps having round edges. Steel front bumper of the Thar.e makes it look tough. This SUV is under development on the Inglo platform.
Mahindra offers its EV with multiple battery packs. It could also be offered with 59 and 79 kWh batteries, which could provide a range of 550 to 600 kilometers. Mahindra previously showcased a concept version of this SUV, and is now preparing for a production version. The manufacturer has yet to provide formal details, but it is expected to be launched in India on August 15th.
