Bajaj has launched its new 2026 Avenger Street 220 in India. The company has priced this cruiser bike at ₹1.30 lakh (ex-showroom) and has listed it on the company's official website. Notably, the Street 220 is priced slightly higher than the Bajaj Avenger Cruise, which is priced at ₹1.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Bajaj has discontinued the Avenger Street 160 in India.

The Bajaj Avenger Street is powered by the same 220cc, air-/oil-cooled engine that powers the Avenger Cruise 220. This single-cylinder engine produces 19 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 17.6 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

The Avenger Street 220 features a design change, featuring a sloping handlebar that provides a more comfortable and secure riding position. The bike lacks a pillion backrest. Furthermore, the Cruise 220's windshield is replaced by a small visor.

The bike comes in an all-black theme. The company is offering it in two color options: Ebony Black and Cocktail Wine Red.

The seat height of this bike is 737 mm. This has always made it easy for new riders to ride, and this hasn't changed with the 220 Street. The handlebar is slightly flatter and lower than the 220 Cruise, but the footrest is the same. In terms of weight, the 220 Street has a kerb weight of 163 kg.
